A 27-year-old man died of cardiorespiratory arrest on a beach in Puerto del Carmen. The incident took place at approximately 6:35 p.m. this Sunday, when CECOES was alerted that a man in cardiac arrest had been rescued from the sea.
Local Police, Civil Guard agents, and two SUC ambulances, one medicalized and one with basic life support, were dispatched to the scene.
The healthcare personnel performed basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, without success, and his death was confirmed.
The Civil Guard initiated the judicial proceedings.
