A 27-year-old man died after the car he was traveling in overturned on the LZ-34 near Sara Animal Shelter, the road that connects the Zonzamas landfill with Tahíche. The accident occurred at approximately 00:30 hours this Sunday, when a call alerted the Cecoes of the incident.

Agents from the Local Police of Teguise, Arrecife, the Civil Guard and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.

According to reports from the Consortium, it was a car overturned on its right side. The health services certified the death of the 27-year-old who had been thrown from the vehicle in the overturn.

They also took care of the deceased's brother, a 26-year-old, who at the initial moment of assistance presented an anxiety crisis. He was transferred in an ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The firefighters proceeded to stabilize the vehicle and waited for the body to be lifted, thus ending the service.
