A man of about 60 years old has died drowned this Wednesday on the coast of Arrecife, at the height of the Nautical Club, after being located at the bottom of the sea.
It was the concierge of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife who alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES) when he detected the man submerged. At that moment, a doctor who was in the place, together with several members of the Náutico, began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers.
Upon arrival, the sanitary personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) continued with the maneuvers, although unfortunately they have not managed to save his life.
