The House-Museum of the Portuguese Nobel Prize winner José Saramago

A Casa Museo José Saramago, in collaboration with the City Councilors of Citizen Participation and Culture of the Tías City Council, invites the public to participate in the performance Susurros de Saramago, a theatrical show in movement that will take place in four stages, three of them outdoors, culminating in the Library of the Casa Museo.

Susurros de Saramago will take place this Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the gardens and library of A Casa Museo José Saramago, in Tías, Lanzarote.

The proposal is built from texts and monologues inspired by some of Saramago's most emblematic works, such as The Gospel According to Jesus Christ, History of the King Who Made Deserts, An Unexpected Light, Essay on Lucidity or The Night.

With a cast of actors and actresses from Portugal, Tenerife and Lanzarote, the piece proposes a sensory and reflective journey through the themes that are a common thread in the author's work: the defense of democracy, critical thinking, peace and Human Rights.

Admission is free until full capacity.
