The Lanzarote Film Festival opens registration for the photography and sound courses for its 16th edition, which will feature the participation of Mauro Herce and Eva Valiño, professionals awarded with the Goya prize, and Belén López, sound designer, editor, and film director.

With this proposal, the Film Festival maintains one of its fundamental lines of work: understanding cinema as a space for exhibition, learning, reflection, and meeting between professionals, the public, and people interested in audiovisual language.

The courses will focus on two essential areas of film creation: photography and sound. Through this training, the Lanzarote Film Festival proposes a practical and specialized approach to two decisive crafts for the development of an integral vision of cinematic narrative.

The participation of Mauro Herce, Eva Valiño, and Belén López reinforces the training dimension of this edition and offers the local population access to high-value free training, from three professionals with outstanding careers in contemporary cinema.

Registration will be open until November 5 and can be done through the form that can be found on the Lanzarote Film Festival website. Where you can find all the details about schedules, content, and participation conditions.

The Lanzarote Film Festival is financed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and La Graciosa, the Centers of Art, Culture, and Tourism, the Lanzarote External Promotion Society through its product brand Lanzarote Film Commission; with the sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development (Canary Islands Film) and Promotur (Canary Islands Latitude of Life), and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts, the Government of Spain through the Ministry of Culture.
