The San Bartolomé City Council presented the prizes of the XIV Crea Joven Contest on Saturday, whose edition was dedicated to the world of comics and manga. The first place went to the work 'El reloj de Magec', made by Marta Idaira Jimenez; the second place went to Jonás Emmanuel Hernández, with 'El ojo de Guayota', while the third place was occupied by 'El legado del Rey', by Ariadna Lorenzo.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, congratulated the work developed by all the participants in this XIV Crea Joven Contest, which was held once again in the municipality. He also invited all young people "to participate in this type of activities that stimulate creativity and promote interest in art and culture among the youngest".
The Councilor for Youth of the San Bartolomé City Council, Ana María López, explained that a total of 24 proposals passed the cut imposed by the organization of the contest. "The expert jury, together with the winner of last year's contest, were in charge of deciding the winners of this new edition," explained the councilor.
