The Spanish singer-songwriter Nacho Vegas will perform next Thursday, May 21 at the Teatro Víctor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero”, as part of the presentation tour of Vidas semipreciosas, his ninth studio album. The concert will take place at 8:00 PM.

With this new work, the Asturian artist celebrates twenty-five years of musical career, consolidating one of the most personal voices in Spanish and Asturian singer-songwriter music. The album takes the idea of semi-precious stones as a starting point to build a repertoire focused on the imperfect, the everyday, and that which, even when moving away from the brilliant or the ideal, contains its own beauty.

The Minister of Culture of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Jesús Machín Tavío, highlights that the presence of Nacho Vegas in Lanzarote “represents an opportunity to enjoy one of the most recognized and unique names in contemporary Spanish music, with a career marked by the depth of his lyrics and a very defined artistic identity”.

Twenty-five years of career

The Vidas semipreciosas tour is taking Nacho Vegas through different national stages in a new phase in which he revisits his musical universe from a more mature and relaxed perspective. The repertoire combines songs from this new album with some of the most representative themes of his career.

Nacho Vegas is one of the benchmarks of singer-songwriter and alternative rock in Spanish from recent decades. Throughout his career, he has developed a body of work marked by social commitment, literary exploration, and a very personal way of understanding composition. From his beginnings in the Asturian independent scene to his most recent works, he has built a repertoire that has connected with several generations of listeners.

Tickets, priced at 25 euros, can be purchased through the website of the Área de Cultura del Cabildo de Lanzarote.
