'Tremor' Exhibition by Jaime Romero

The renowned artist from Lanzarote, Jaime Romero, inaugurated his exhibition 'Tremor' last Friday night at the Marina Lanzarote gallery. In the exhibited work, the artist transforms desolation into a work of art, as a son of Lanzarote and as such, a privileged spectator of how disaster is achieved in an idyllic, very abrupt landscape presented by nature.

Another thing is the special sensitivity to emotionally fit it and express it in his paintings, scrupulously worked with his personal, deep stroke, using the materials of a landscape devastated by the volcano that will never be as it was.

It is very difficult to explain in words to the victims that today, after that fateful year 2021, the volcanic eruptions that occurred on the island of La Palma, that the volcano that devastated, tomorrow with the passage of time will be the basis of their future.

This impressive work by Jaime Romero is partly dedicated to them, to those who have lost everything, to those who do not find encouragement in these moments where the promised promises do not arrive. This work by Romero is a breath of hope through art, before which humans remain in silence and admiration.

Tremor consists of 31 works in different formats in which the technique of acrylics with textures on wood has been used with a duration of about six months without stopping.

The exhibition can be visited every day in the morning and afternoon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. until January 5, without a doubt the best gift for this Christmas.
