The Cabildo of Lanzarote presented this past Friday the event Lanzarote Fashion Weekend 2023. This fashion event will take place next Saturday, November 18 at the Islote de Fermina in Arrecife. Thus, the event will take place in a single day that will begin at 11:00 and end at 23:00 hours, with the aim of promoting the different firms, designers and brands of the Lanzarote Moda program, through tourism, culture and fashion.
“We are facing a project that is part of our philosophy of betting on public-private collaboration, with the participation of the Department of Industry of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Proexca and all those who are part of Lanzarote Moda”, said the president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort. “Hence the collaboration of Proexca, a company whose objectives are the internationalization of Canarian companies and the attraction of strategic investments to the Islands”, he pointed out.
For his part, the Minister of Industry of the Cabildo, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, stated that “the work of our designers needs the necessary boost from the administration, to show it in a showcase and amplify this activity in the largest number of media, including influencers, and social networks, in general, to encourage our local fashion industry and commerce in Lanzarote”.
Fashion, gastronomy, commerce, music and tourism
Lanzarote Fashion Weekend 2023 will bring together fashion, gastronomy, commerce, music and tourism in a single space. In addition, it will have a market, where local brands such as Milagro Mutante, Almagre, Siliza, Nanni Jewelry, Famara Spirit and Macaronesia Swim, among others, will meet.
There will be a call for different influencers and under a common theme based on jazz music. In addition, it will have three different areas: The Entrepreneurship space, where the firms and commercial brands will be located. The Entrée space, with a very defined theme with Dj, theatrical and musical performances, a gastro area and a KissingRoom.
You can also enjoy the FashionTalk Craftsmanship: The new luxury of Spanish fashion’, by the three professionals of the sector Juan Carlos Pajares, Juan Duyos and Moisés Nieto, and with the designer of the Tenerife brand José Acosta Style, as moderator of the talk.
On the other hand, a catwalk will be held outside the Islote de Fermina, where the different firms of the Lanzarote Moda collective will parade. The parades will take place at 12.00, at 13.00, at 17.00 and 19.00 hours.
The event will feature photographers, videographers, influencers and Dj to turn it into an unforgettable event with a projection of the future, in which the union of fashion, together with the visual contribution go hand in hand.
