La Cueva de los Verdes dives into the universe of Agustín Espinosa with the proposal Lancelot 28º-7º, an innovative and suggestive cabaret that looks back at Lanzarote from the avant-garde and contemporary creation that will be seen on Friday, September 11, at 8:00 p.m.

Lancelot 28º-7º takes as its reference point the work of the same name by Agustín Espinosa, one of the fundamental figures of Canarian surrealism. His poetic universe and his particular vision of Lanzarote serve as the argumentative axis of a show where word, electronic music, lyrical singing, performance, and humor coexist.

Tickets to enjoy this updated revision of Agustín Espinosa's universe are now on sale at https://cactlanzarote.com/es/eventos/lancelot-28o-7o.

An invented island on stage

The figure of Agustín Espinosa, interpreted by José Carlos Campos, leads the audience through this particular geography of Lanzarote and through a show that plays with provocation, reflection, and the irreverent character of the surrealist universe.

Alongside him, composer and performer Belén Álvarez Doreste–Lajalada creates the electronic landscape of the piece live, while tenor Manuel Gómez Ruiz incorporates lyrical singing as another element of sound experimentation. The three languages meet on stage to offer a free and current interpretation of Espinosa's work.

Lancelot 28º-7º is a project selected in the Call for cultural projects of the Art, Culture, and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote 2026-2027, an initiative that allows the Entity to promote creative proposals linked to culture, territory, and contemporary artistic languages.
