The cultural event "Symphonic Gardens" continues, and for this occasion, the young singer-songwriter Etel Santos arrives from the island of Tenerife with her guitar. Next Saturday, April 8th, starting at 11:00 am, her show “It Won't Be the Same” will "flood those who are enjoying the charms of the old rofera transformed by César Manrique at that time", ROFE tells us.
Santos has spent nine years "using music as a means of expression, struggle and proposal". Now, after years of maturation and development, she presents a concert "based on social criticism, in which she uses humor, irony, emotions, and, of course, music" to put on the table, "all those issues that she considers necessary: freedom, self-love, justice and truth."
"To put on the table issues such as freedom, self-love, justice and truth"
“It Won't Be the Same”, "is not just a concert, it is a call to change, to social transformation, an impulse in the form of a song that will invite the entire audience to reflect on all these important issues", they tell us.
They emphasize that it is "an opportunity for the development of collective thinking, through music and space". "Symphonic Gardens is a proposal developed by Ubay T. Alemán that complements the visit to the Cactus Garden and allows "to give visibility to creativity, emerging artists and the talent of those who make culture."
Enjoying the Symphonic Gardens concerts "does not involve any additional cost in the price of admission to the Cactus Garden". The next, and last, appointment of this first edition "will take place on May 13 with the performance of the international emerging artist Andrea Santiago, with whom this first program will be closed, after five months and five concerts."
