The second edition of Lanzarote, Arte y Guateque kicked off with a notable success in terms of public attendance and sales. The inauguration, held last Friday at the Ermita de Tías, resulted in the sale of over 30 works, confirming the growing interest in contemporary art produced in Lanzarote and the public's commitment to local creation.

The event, coordinated by the Ars Magna Cultural and Artistic Association with the support of the Tías City Council through the Culture department led by Pepa González, brings together more than thirty female artists working in disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, collage, printmaking, and ceramics.

Participating in this second edition are A. Luzardo, Aida Extebarría, Atchen Pounapal, Bárbara Müller, Damián Rodríguez, Daniel L. Fleitas, David GP, Elena Betancor, Elena Zabalza, Emma LLG, Evelin Toledano, Fernando Robayna, Flora González, Gerson Díaz, Guacimara Hernández, Ico Mosquera, Ildefonso Aguilar, JUIN, Lana Corujo, Macarena López Grimón, María Arreb, Marina Speer, Pepe Vera, Pura Márquez, Rigoberto Camacho, Roberto F. Perdomo, Rosa Vera, Rubén Acosta, Rut Hernández Toledo, Sara GDM, Tallulah Mae Ellis, Tavío and Víctor G. Moreno.

The excellent result of this first day reinforces the project's main objective: to bring art closer to the public and encourage the direct purchase of original works by local artists at accessible prices.

The organization encourages citizens and visitors to the island to continue visiting the Hermitage of Tías until January 5, the date on which the exhibition will conclude. Purchasing local art not only means acquiring a unique piece but also directly supporting Lanzarote's cultural fabric, contributing to the sustainability and visibility of its artists in a context marked by a scarcity of exhibition and commercialization spaces.

As part of the parallel programming, on Saturday, January 3rd, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a new festive gathering will take place with music by Denis Rodd and vermouth by Primo Lanzarote, inviting attendees to enjoy art in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.Lanzarote, Art and Party can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in addition to Monday, January 5th in the afternoon.
