The Catalan company Elegants has been in charge of inaugurating the Malab-Haría International Circus-Theater Festival. And it did so before more than half a thousand people, according to the Haría City Council, with its show 'Cabaret Elegance' with which the group has been touring Europe for more than five years and for which they have received several international awards.
The Haría Municipal Pavilion became a great circus on Monday night in which spectators could enjoy high-level numbers that combined balances, trapeze, Chinese perch, unicycle and juggling. From the Consistory they have highlighted the originality and the careful staging of the show. Aspects that, together with the comedy of the artists as a driving language, made "the inaugural performance of the International Circus-Theater Festival 'MalabHaría' a real success".
The mayor of Haría, Marci Acuña, has positively valued the fact that in the first performance it was necessary to "hang the sold out sign". Results that, in his opinion, consolidate the quality of the shows offered at the island level and, above all, "the projection that said event has gradually had in the national and international circus circuits".
