Alone with Marilyn. Opera Festival
The Municipal Theater of Tías presents "Alone with Marilyn," a chamber opera by David del Puerto, based on the theatrical text by Alfonso Zurro. Conceived for soprano, mezzo-soprano, electric viola, electric guitar, and soundscapes, the work intertwines the intimate and the mythical through the story of Ella, a woman whose emotional world shatters after a breakup and who begins to confront the iconic figure of "Marilyn."
