The week of October 16-22 includes proposals for humor, cinema, and magic. In addition, the Lanzarote Visual Music Festival continues with three musical proposals, as does the Lanzarote Literature Festival with a talk by Elisabeth Duval.
The performing arts take center stage this week with the Heart Festival in Playa Blanca, the Pocket Theater Festival in Tías, Harionetas in Haría, the play Santas y Perversas, and a performance in El Almacén.
Additionally, an exhibition on photojournalism in Lanzarote over the last 50 years begins at La Casa Amarilla in Arrecife.

Elizabeth Duval is a novelist, poet, philosopher, French philologist, and Spanish activist for the rights of trans people. She comes to Lanzarote thanks to the Lanzarote Literature Festival and will give a talk on how writing becomes a space for resistance and critical thought, and how the intimate and the political coexist in her work.

Harionetas
The sixth edition of the Haría Puppet Theater Festival, Harionetas, is already underway, and until Sunday the 19th, the La Tegala and El Aljibe halls will host several puppet shows, with some of the best companies in the country and also from Argentina.

Pocket Theater Festival
Pocket theater, a format with a maximum of 15 minutes per staging, returns to the municipality of Tías with the celebration, from October 16 to 19, of the V Pocket Theater Festival, directed by Alexis Mendiola.
Every night at 8:00 PM there will be a gala in which 7 works from Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife will be performed. On the 16th, an award will be presented to the author, actor, and theater director Salvador Leal, and at the third gala, on the 19th, theater and film director Antonio Naharro will receive an honorary award.

La Rockova
The Rockova gathering arrives at the Arrecife arcade with two concerts, a vintage market, record sales, cocktails, a vinyl session, and a hairdresser.
The first concert will be given by the Lanzarote rock band Los Iguales at 8:00 p.m., and the second, at 9:30 p.m. by La Perra Blanco, the stage name of Alba Blanco, a rock and roll and rockabilly guitarist and singer born in La Línea de la Concepción in 1995. Known for her energy on stage, she is often nicknamed the "Queen of Rockabilly."
