The artist Santiago Auserón returned to Lanzarote last weekend and for a little over an hour and a half, the former leader and voice of the legendary Radio Futura offered a concert in the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium.

"The interaction with the public, the humor and a story that combines lyricism and humor were the continent of a concert whose content, poetry in the form of music, served to create a welcoming space that generates complicity and alliances," the Tourist Centers of Lanzarote highlighted in a press release.

"With few concessions to the nostalgia of past times at the head of a band that broke molds in eighties pop-rock, Luces de la Frontera is Santiago Auserón's passionate journey through Cuban son, African music, jazz and blues, linked with narrative and philosophical segments," they added.

Impressed by the magical atmosphere of the Cueva de los Verdes, the singer from Zaragoza made a devoted audience enjoy from the beginning.

The event, which sold out, was part of the program of the II edition of the Book Fair, the cultural event organized by the Association of Booksellers and Publishers of Lanzarote, Isla Literaria, which had the collaboration of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism and Sonidos Líquidos.
