Tahíche celebrated on Monday night the Play Back 'Las Rebeldes' at the festivities in honor of Santiago Apóstol and Santa Ana in the tent installed on the sports field of the Santiago El Mayor Socio-Cultural Center. A crowded event in which there was a lot of participation from the town's residents, who arrived eager to enjoy themselves and have a good time.
'Las Rebeldes' is a musical group that after 30 years of activity continues to surprise with the good work and the spark of humor added in each of their performances.
The night began with a spectacular staging based on the movie 'Grease', starring in 1978 by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, in which dancers and protagonists made an entrance through the central aisle to the stage, where the convertible car was not missing. A performance that infected the public, who at all times did not stop singing and applauding until the end.
From that moment on, the public was much more focused on the stage from where Carmen Nieves Pérez, also putting her rebellious spark, was in charge of presenting each of the performances. The protagonists of each of them, wore their best clothes, with very well-worked choreographies and with a lot of rhythm, transforming themselves into their musical idols, national and international.
In addition, three incomparable rebels: Sergio, David and Orlando, starred in some Sketch of humor, which every year manage to bring a smile so necessary in these times and that is rewarded with the applause of the public.
After approximately two hours of these shows, 'Las Rebeldes' put the finishing touch with Canarian airs, popular choruses that were hummed and applauded by the public, who standing up thanked them for their valuable collaboration, putting the spark of humor one more year in these Tahíche festivities.
