San Bartolomé celebrated with great success the 'IX Anniversary of the Lanzarote Bikers Meeting' during this past weekend. San Bartolomé was the epicenter of the celebratory events for the meeting, which took place with "great public success and extraordinary atmosphere" during the three consecutive days.
Isidro Pérez and the Councilor for Commerce of the San Bartolomé City Council, Alama Ma González Mauri, wanted to thank all the participants for choosing the municipality to "develop the events of this ninth anniversary" and encouraged them to "continue developing events" of this type.
Last Friday, the celebration of AMOLANZ's anniversary began, welcoming the participants at 7:00 p.m. in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park in the municipality. Subsequently, a night route was carried out, ending with DJ Ángel Pérez, and with the concert of the group Sin Cobertura, which put the finishing touch to the first day of events.
On Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., they started a new route around the island and after the fellowship lunch in the municipality, they met again in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente park to continue celebrating with a raffle and awards ceremony, and to enjoy the music again, this time starring the band Treintytantos and DJ Elvis. Both days, in this emblematic place of San Bartolomé, took place under a "great atmosphere" for the enjoyment of all attendees.
Last Sunday, the bikers from the island, and from the sister islands Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, once again embarked on their route along the roads of Lanzaorte, ending with another union lunch, after which the farewell to this 'IX Anniversary of the Lanzarote Bikers Meeting' took place. In addition, the Councilor for the Commerce area, Alma M. González Mauri, thanked the "great participation and the good development of the activities" in the town of San Bartolomé.
