Next Thursday, October 16, 2025, the III Lanzarote Literature Festival (FDLL25) will receive Elizabeth Duval, one of the most unique and provocative voices in contemporary literature, at the El Fondeadero Civic Center, in Puerto del Carmen.

Philosopher, philologist, poet, novelist and activist, Duval has made writing a space for critical thinking and identity exploration. In the talk entitled Writing as political identity and poetic territory, she will propose a dialogue on the intersection between body, language and politics, and how literature can disturb, question and transform.

The FDLL25, under the slogan Letters of rofe and salt, is held from October 9 to December 3 and will bring together six top-level authors: Fernando Aramburu, Cristina Fernández Cubas, Sergio del Molino, Mónica Ojeda, Ignacio Martínez de Pisón and Duval herself. In addition, it will feature literary creation workshops taught by Matías Candeira and Men Marías, thus reinforcing its mission to turn Lanzarote into a living literary territory.

After two editions with great reception, the Festival consolidates its commitment to bringing literature closer to the island's citizens, with talks and workshops that invite meeting, reflection and inspiration in accessible spaces in Tías, Yaiza and Arrecife. Places are limited and are assigned in order of registration. Registration open at the following link.
