The tourist town of Playa Blanca is preparing to enjoy its 2023 Carnival and share its revelry with all visitors who are willing to catch the joy of a welcoming popular festival, which in the south of Lanzarote offers up to ten proposals to have fun in four intense days, from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19.

The carnival parade returns to the street to externalize all the creativity and good work of masquerades, floats, troupes and groups of touch and dance in the always crowded meeting on Saturday. "Last year the Carnival was a success in terms of attendance and assessment by our people and visitors who accompanied us, so the party promises because this year we will once again enjoy the imposing coso, a great show that brings together thousands of people as they pass through its route," notes the Councilor for Festivities of Yaiza, Javier Camacho. "Finally without any of the pandemic restrictions," adds Camacho.

Another highly anticipated day is the Day Carnival that starts at noon in the Plaza del Carmen with the performance of the El Combo Dominicano orchestra, Grupo Bomba, the artist Fulanito, invited from Santo Domingo, and Oscarito from Grupo Manía with his orchestra from Puerto Rico.

The Playa Blanca Carnival is "full of activities for different tastes and ages: Canine Carnival, parades, Meeting of Murgas and Chirigotas, Drag Gala with the best queens of the Canary Islands, festivals and Children's Carnival. The invitation is open, so there is little more to talk about," the mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, invites you to "not lose track of the Carnival" by consulting the program published on the cover of www.yaiza.es.
