The Jameos del Agua Auditorium will bring a musical theater starring Pasión Vega, who arrives in Lanzarote to present this latest work, 'Lorca Sonoro', as part of the program of the 'Performing Arts Festival' organized by the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers. The work will be presented this Sunday, November 12, at 8:00 p.m.

Music and words come together in a journey through the sound map of Federico García Lorca. Songs and poems that remind us that, although the writer from Granada was killed and his voice silenced, there is a 'Lorca sonoro' that will always resonate in the echoes of memory. Vega navigates through the poet's work to transport his ideas and emotions to the public as if they had just been created, as if the life of the "Granadino" and the sounds of his verses were born again in the current imagination.

The Councilor of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Ángel Vázquez, encourages the island's population to "enjoy and be carried away by the talent of one of the greatest artists on the national music scene in the magical setting of the Jameos del Agua Auditorium."

About Lorca Sonoro

Lorca Sonoro is a magnificent opportunity to be part of something as precious as Lorca's passion and art, which belongs to all of us, and which now comes to life on stage with a very special musical and theatrical show directed by Ana López Segovia from Cádiz, winner of a MAX award for her work 'El viento salvaje'. On stage, Vega will be accompanied by the actor Víctor Clavijo and a trio of musicians to star in a journey where the Andalusian lyrical and musical spirit is revealed under the image of the eternal Federico García Lorca, where the artist's voice functions as the perfect common thread in each stop.
