Los Coquillos and Pepe Benavente will perform at the Valterra festivities

Los Coquillos and Pepe Benavente will be some of the musical performances of the Valterra festivities. The group will give a concert this Saturday, June 13 at 9:00 p.m. The festivities have started at 7:30 p.m. with an announcing parade in which there will be giants, big heads and batucada; prelude to the reading of the proclamation by Marcelino Suárez from 8:30 p.m., which will include the performance of the Coros Iris del Mar group and will be followed by a Salvapantallas concert.

A festival that will extend until next Sunday, July 21, the day on which one of its most important events will be held, such as the maritime procession of the Virgen del Carmen. On Sunday, children will take center stage with a children's party in the morning and play back in the afternoon.

In this sense, Echedey Eugenio encourages citizens to "participate and enjoy the most seafaring festivals in our city" and thanks "the Festival Committee, the Parish and all the people involved" for their participation in the preparation of the attractive program, which will continue on Monday, July 15 with events such as the torchlight procession with the small image of the Virgen del Carmen from 8:15 p.m. and which will be followed by a Grand Children's Gala and the performance of the Parranda Los Gurfines.

On Tuesday, July 16, Day of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of sailors, after the religious service in the Parish of Valterra that will begin at 7:00 p.m., a procession will be held through the streets of the neighborhood and the banks of the Charco de San Ginés.

Pepe Benavente will perform next Wednesday, July 17 at 8:30 p.m.
