Ale Acosta, artist and producer from Lanzarote, has been nominated in four categories of the II Music Academy Awards, which will be presented in early June at a gala yet to be confirmed.
Acosta, one of the most prominent names in this edition, will compete in the categories of Producer of the Year, Best Urban Fusion/Interpretation (for his collaboration with Juancho Marqués), Best Electronic Music Album and Best Electronic Song for La Ceniza (with Valeria Castro). With these nominations, the Lanzarote native is positioned among the most recognized artists on the national scene, alongside figures such as Amaia, Dani Fernández, and Nathy Peluso.
Voting to choose the winners will be open until April 27, and the ceremony promises to be a reflection of the vibrant Spanish music scene. Sole Giménez, president of the Academy, highlighted the great participation in this edition, with more than 4,900 proposals received, which demonstrates, in her words, "the good health of Spanish music."
Ale Acosta, known for his versatility and his ability to fuse genres, continues to consolidate himself as one of the most innovative figures in music production.
