This Saturday, the city of Arrecife experienced a very fun and summery Saturday with the Fiesta de la Chola, organized by the Arrecife City Council within the San Ginés festivities, which has allowed hundreds of families to enjoy themselves in the Parque Islas Canarias, in the capital of Lanzarote.
Under the direct organization of the Departments of Tourism and Commerce, and Acts and Events of the Arrecife City Council, led respectively by councilors Eli Merino and Óscar López, the Parque Islas Canarias hosted almost 12 consecutive hours of musical performances and lots of summer fun where hundreds of people, in a playful and casual atmosphere, enjoyed the musical performances with their families.
The mayor Yonathan de León, accompanied by the councilor for Tourism and Commerce, Eli Merino, and the councilor for Acts and Events, Óscar López, have been present, among others, in the Parque Islas Canarias, where fun and joy has been the tonic in this new edition of the Fiesta de la Chola, where the Arrecife City Council, led by the mayor Yonathan de León, set itself the goal that in the extensive program of the San Ginés festivities, the people of Lanzarote would have the option of having fun and dancing in a summer atmosphere, including dips, and attractions for the children, such as inflatable mats.
From the Arrecife City Council, given the high temperatures that were recorded yesterday, they installed a shaded area inside the Parque Islas Canarias, which was also equipped with a system of humidifiers and water sprinklers.
The Parque Islas Canarias has been, during the afternoon and evening of Saturday, the epicenter of fun and joy with the Fiesta de la Chola, where Los 600, Dj Maxi, Aseres, the groups Extra and Bomba, and DeLorean performed. A wide security device allowed the party to proceed normally.
The program of the San Ginés festivities will continue during this Monday, the 25th, the day of the festivity of San Ginés Obispo, where the traditional Eucharist and procession with the image of the saint will take place through the streets surrounding the church, and at night the great concert of Alejandro Fernández and the great fireworks display, on the beach of El Reducto.
