With a program subject to Covid measures, the town of Güime will celebrate the festivities in honor of San Antonio de Padua from June 10 to 13.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, and the Councilor for Festivities, Isidro Pérez, have invited all residents to enjoy the organized program, in which events for the youngest members of the household are especially important. There will be folklore, concerts, theater, presentation of the book 'Taro' and storytelling, family games, a toy library, among other activities.
From the City Council, the first mayor has expressed his gratitude "to each of the people who make this program possible", as well as to the Festivities area "for their involvement and work."

The San Bartolomé City Council states that it reserves the right to suspend or modify the program if health measures so indicate. Likewise, it is recalled that measures against Covid must be maintained regarding the mask, hand hygiene and safety distance.
Program of events
The events will start at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, with children's games by 'Las Majadas de Goime, for children from eight years old. Later, at 6:30 p.m., a chess workshop will be held. In the latter case, registration must be done at chesslanzarote@gmail.com.
On Friday, June 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., there will be virtual reality for children from seven years old. As in the rest of the activities, capacity will be limited and a place must be reserved, in this case by sending an email to info@infinityvr.es. Later that night, at 9:00 p.m., the Teguey group will offer a concert.
The events will continue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, with a toy library in the Civic Center, which will extend until 2:00 p.m. In the afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., there will be an adult yinkana by 'Las Majadas de Goime, from 12 years old, and later, at 9:00 p.m., Adrián Niz and José Vicente Pérez will offer a timple and guitar concert, together with young soloists.
On Sunday, June 13, the day of San Antonio de Padua, there will be wooden and family games from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., whose prior registration must be done by WhatsApp at number 618 280 083. Later, at 5:00 p.m., there will be a presentation of the book 'Taro' and storytelling by Isabel Cabrera, author of said publication, and Nareme Melián, illustrator of the story. At 6:00 p.m. the mass in honor of San Antonio will be celebrated and at 9:00 p.m. the play 'A mi manera' will be performed by the Somos Teatro group. The grand finale will be the fireworks at 10:00 p.m.
