Thousands of people enjoyed this past Friday the XIV edition of the White Night, which was held under the slogan Let yourself be seen, let yourself be carried away and offered a wide program of activities for all audiences.

The streets, squares, historic buildings, and emblematic spaces of the Historic Site of La Villa de Teguise hosted from 4:00 PM until past midnight, a program that combined music, performing arts, heritage, gastronomy, children's activities, exhibitions, and participatory experiences.

Plaza de Los Leones was one of the main stages of the night with proposals such as the show ‘Dreams Come True’, starring the Young People of the Teguise Musical; the visual show ‘Masquerade’; the itinerant parade of Los Cumbacheros; the stellar performance of Cristina Ramos with her show ‘From Opera to Rock’; and a great tribute to the Puerto Rican artist Olga Tañón.

Popular music and Canarian traditions had a prominent space in the surroundings of El Hoyo and La Tahona, where Parranda La Aldaba, Gurfines Son del Puerto, Pal Porrón, and Dani Valiente performed. Likewise, Plaza Clavijo y Fajardo brought together groups such as Defecto Venturi, Kilombo Improvisado, Arpegio, and Los Lola.

Local culture was also present in spaces such as the Municipal Music School, with performances by the Adult Band and the Clarinet Quartet of the students. At the Teguise Mill, attendees of the White Night 2026 could learn about the traditional process of making gofio, enjoy a tasting, and an activity accompanied by live acoustic music.

The Timple House Museum became a Gastronomic Palace to offer different wine and local product pairing experiences, as well as a concert by timple player Alexis Lemes and a videomapping show projected on the facade of the emblematic building.

Plaza Maciot de Bethencourt hosted ‘The Square of Dreams’, a children's space with workshops, fairytale characters, attractions, virtual reality, and the children's musical ‘Moraleja’, while La Mareta Joven offered creative activities, immersive experiences, workshops, urban performances, and DJ sessions aimed at young people.

The programming also included proposals related to fashion, dance, and contemporary art at the Ángel Guerra House of Culture, with fashion shows by local designers and brands, the special participation of the renowned designer José Perea, and the performance of the contemporary dance piece ‘Vidas y Vueltas’, by Siscu Ruz.

‘La Noche Negra: Los Piratas’ was once again one of the main attractions, an immersive theatrical experience that transformed Santa Bárbara Castle into a stage for pirate adventures and legends with several performances throughout the night.

The cultural offering was completed with art and photography exhibitions, electronic music sessions, live performances, international gastronomy, and meeting spaces that turned every corner of La Villa into a unique experience.
