The Hat Dance once again became this Friday night one of the main protagonists of the Patron Saint Festivities of San Bartolomé, bringing together neighbors and visitors in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park for an evening marked by creativity, music, and a good atmosphere.
The celebration, organized by the San Bartolomé City Council through the Festejos Department, maintained the participatory character that has made the Hat Dance one of the most unique and anticipated events in the municipality's festive program.
Under the slogan ‘Create your hat, live the tradition’, participants once again demonstrated their imagination and originality with designs specially made for the occasion, turning the venue into a true showcase of color, creativity, and tradition.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted that “the Hat Dance is already one of the major events of our festivities and a celebration that we feel is very much our own. What makes this night special is precisely the participation of the citizens, who year after year put all their creativity and enthusiasm into growing a tradition that is part of our festivities”.
Pérez added that “from the City Council we want to continue promoting activities that allow us to enjoy, participate, and come together, and this night is a magnificent example of that. I want to thank all the people who have joined and who make it possible for our festivities to continue to have that ability to bring together different generations around fun and coexistence”.
During the night, the public enjoyed a musical program featuring Nueva Stella, Vocal Force, and Los Conejeros, who set the rhythm for a celebration that lasted throughout the night.
The Councilor for Festejos, Estefanía Luzardo, pointed out that “once again, the public has responded to one of the most special nights of our festivities. The Hat Dance shows that tradition, creativity, and fun can go hand in hand and that we have citizens with a great desire to participate and enjoy our festivities”.
Luzardo especially thanked “the effort and imagination of all the people who prepare their hats and their proposals for this night, because it is they who make each edition different and special”.
The event also included the traditional registration process at the venue itself, which allowed participants to become part of the celebration and present their original creations.
The Hat Dance thus consolidates itself as one of the most characteristic events of the Patron Saint Festivals of San Bartolomé, combining the festive spirit with a participatory tradition that each year invites residents and visitors to become protagonists of the celebration with fantastic participation success in a setting that once again proved, one more year, that these are attractive and safe local festivals, without incidents.
The San Bartolomé City Council thanks all the people who enjoyed this night and the work of those who made the development of a new edition of this event possible, as well as the collaboration of the bodies and services that ensured the proper development of the celebration.
