The *murga* families are working non-stop to have everything ready and to ensure that no detail is missing for the long-awaited *murga* contest, also called by some as the "normality" contest.
Last Friday, the children's *murga* "Los Intoxicaditos" from Valterra held their official presentation at the Víctor Fernández Gopar Island Theater "El Salinero". The night was very lively with an audience dedicated to supporting both the hosts and the other *murga* groups that accompanied them.
The event began with the performance of the children's *murga* Los Chau Chau. This year it has 30 members who are directed by Samuel Hernández. Later, the 45 members of the *murga* Los Simplones took the stage under the direction of Enrique Martín.
After Los Simplones, the 23 members of the children's *murga* Los Noveleros performed, directed by Kiara Cáceres, to give way to the 35 members of the adult *murga* Los Intoxicados, directed in the musical part by Cristina Marrero.
Each of the invited *murgas* performed the Pasacalle and Farewell, and in order not to detract from the host *murga*, they did not show off their fantasies and instead took the stage with their identifying kits that they renew each year.
Finally, the most anticipated moment of the night arrived when the 34 members of the children's *murga* Los Intoxicaditos, presided over by Cristina Santana, made an appearance on stage wearing the fantasy called "For my seafaring neighborhood of Valterra", a design by Francis García. For the presentation night, they performed the song titled "The Song of Time", under the musical direction of Francis García. The event ended with the lively parade that was reciprocated by the audience who very enthusiastically sang with them, putting the finishing touch to a great night where the little ones enjoyed until the last second.
