Discover the winners of the Timanfaya and Jameos de Oro Awards

Antonio Corujo Tejera will be recognized as Favorite Son of Lanzarote, in addition the El Cribo Mental Health Association, referee Alejandro Hernández or the Lanzarote Firefighters are among the award winners

The Cabildo de Lanzarote has already chosen the people, clubs and entities that will receive the Timanfaya and Jameos de Oro Awards this 2024.

As La Voz has advanced, Chana Perera will be named Favorite Daughter of Lanzarote with exceptional character, meanwhile Antonio Corujo Tejera will be recognized as Favorite Son of Lanzarote. In addition, Blas Cabrera Felipe will be named Favorite Son of Lanzarote (posthumously) with exceptional character and Inés Dug Godoy Adoptive Daughter

Thus, Idelfonso Aguilar de la Rúa will receive the Timanfaya de Oro for the Arts, while María Martín will receive the Timanfaya de Oro for Science.

Likewise, the Social Jameo de Oro will be for the El Cribo Mental Health Association; Economic for the Cabrera Medina Group; the Sports for the referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández; while the Jameo de Cultura Tradicional is for Francisco José Navarro; the Jameo de Oro Turístico for the Club La Santa; the Humanitarian for the Lanzarote Firefighters; the International Solidarity for Alberto Hugo Rojas Luque; the Educational for the Mercedes Medina Association; the Sustainability for Idal Martín Martel; the Equality for ADEPSI; and the Cultural Heritage for Salinas del Janubio.

To conclude, the Honorary Advisor of the Cabildo award goes to Antonio Ramos Díaz (Toñín).
