The great Carnival parade has traveled this Saturday along Avenida Islas Canarias in Costa Teguise with the participation of murgas, comparsas, batucadas, floats and hundreds of costumed people, in one of the most anticipated events of the festive program.
The parade, which has filled the tourist town with music, color and carnival atmosphere, and has featured the presence of different groups that have enlivened the route with their choreographies and rhythms. Satirical murgas, carnival comparsas and batucadas have formed part of a parade that every year gathers residents and visitors in the main streets of Costa Teguise.
After the parade, the party has continued with a big street party in the Pueblo Marinero car park. The musical atmosphere will be provided by Grupo Sintonía Show, Ritmo Bakano, DJ Javi Fajardo and Rikabanda, who will set the rhythm for the carnival night.
On the other hand, the program will continue on Sunday with different events in the municipality of Teguise. Starting at 12:00 hours, a parade will take place through the Teguise Market with the participation of the Diabletes de Teguise, the Cumbacheros comparsa and the batucadas Menuda Caña, Merekumbé, Sambukka and Bloco da Ilha, in addition to the comparsas Zulymar and Grimanesa.
Subsequently, at 1:00 p.m., the Plaza de Los Leones will host the Day Carnival with the performance of the group Sintonía Show, in an event that seeks to liven up the Sunday and attract both residents and tourists who visit the municipality.
