Puerto del Carmen is preparing to experience one of the most anticipated weekends of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Carmen 2026 with two major musical events that will bring together artists of recognized national prestige and thousands of people in the Plaza del Varadero.
The first of the concerts will take place today, August 6, at 9:30 PM, with the performance of David Bustamante, one of the most popular artists on the Spanish music scene.
His powerful live performance and a repertoire full of hits such as Dos hombres y un destino, Devuélveme la vida, Cobarde or Feliz will turn the night into an essential event for the followers of the Cantabrian singer and for all lovers of live music.
On Saturday, August 8, it will be the turn of the La Tiñosa & Más festival, which will take place from 5:00 PM to 4:00 AM and will offer more than ten uninterrupted hours of music with a program designed for all audiences.
The lineup will be headlined by Muchachito Bombo Infierno, a benchmark for musical fusion in Spain thanks to his unmistakable combination of rumba, rock, swing, and street sounds. With well-known songs such as Ojalá no te hubiera conocido nunca, Siempre que quiera or La quiero a morir, the Catalan artist promises a show full of energy and closeness.
Joining him will be Lucrecia, one of the most charismatic voices in Latin music; Calle Boogaloo, with their festive proposal that fuses Caribbean rhythms, funk, and urban music; Mambo Latino, a regular group on the Canary Islands' stages for their extensive danceable repertoire; and DJs Javi Fajardo and Diego Díaz, who will put the finishing touch to a day of music and fun.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, encourages all citizens and visitors to the island these days to participate in the scheduled concerts. "We have prepared festivities designed for sharing, enjoying with family, and continuing to make Puerto del Carmen a meeting place. Having artists of the caliber of David Bustamante and Muchachito Bombo Infierno, along with the rest of the lineup, is a magnificent opportunity to experience music in a unique setting like the Plaza del Varadero," he points out.
For her part, the Councilor for Celebrations, Miriam Hernández, highlights that "this year's musical program brings together proposals for all tastes, from pop to rumba, Latin music, and DJ sets. We invite residents and visitors to enjoy these free concerts and to continue participating in a festival that reflects the open, welcoming, and festive character of Puerto del Carmen".
