Benito Cabrera closed this Saturday the "X Timple Meeting Isla de La Graciosa". The timplista who in 2013 was in charge of inaugurating the "I Timple Meeting", after 10 years returned to participate interpreting a repertoire with some of his greatest hits.
On this occasion Benito had his inseparable friend and guitar teacher, Tomás Fariña, a great professional when it comes to interpreting any musical genre, he was also accompanied by one of the most prestigious voices of music in the Canary Islands, the lagunera, Candelaria González with some vocal records with which she can afford the luxury of interpreting any musical genre with quite freshness.
The event held on the stage installed on the Avenida Virgen del Mar de Caleta de Sebo brought together many residents and visitors who enjoyed each of the compositions chosen during the concert and were widely applauded. Benito as a great connoisseur of the music of the Canary Islands and the world in general and had the complicity of his companions, Tomás and Candelaria, and each of the pieces that were interpreted complemented them adding all the information of his authorship, rhythms and origins of them.
Once again Benito Cabrera with the mastery that characterizes him, the first performer to take the timple to the field of "Symphonic Concertist", together with his companions Tomás and Candelaria left the pavilion very high before an audience that did not stop applauding each of the pieces that were interpreted on Saturday night and that for many tasted little insisting that they continue a little more.
The councilor of the town hall of Teguise, Alicia Páez on the night of the closing addressed all those present thanking the reception with which during these 10 years has counted with the assistance of the resident public and visitors, to all the timplistas and companions who have participated leaving each one their personal stamp and the representative of the production company Multitrack Paco Chinea for the advice carried out during these years. Benito Cabrera, Tomás Fariña and Candelaria González with airs of Isa put the finishing touch to this X Edition.
