The carnivals arrive at El Almacén in Arrecife next Saturday, February 10. The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers were not going to miss their annual appointment with the 'Arrecife Carnivals' and have prepared two intense “duels” in the sun to enjoy the most groundbreaking and transgressive festivities of the island's capital. The reward? An unforgettable memory.
On the horizon, beyond La Vega, La Destila and El Reducto, the most intrepid carnival-goers from the Lanzarote tribes appear. On the other side, from Fajardo and Canalejas streets, dozens also arrive. Sioux, gold diggers, Comanches, outlaws, Geronimo, Billy The Kid, Sitting Bull and even Pat Garret are summoned for the wildest duel of color, fun and laughter that is remembered. The place? The most appropriate setting west of the Muelle de Los Mármoles: the plain of the legendary bar of El Almacén, where you can breathe the most genuine carnival atmosphere of Lanzarote.
The Entity's counselor, Ángel Vázquez, encourages citizens "to participate and have fun in the festivities that we have prepared to enjoy an event that is tradition and heritage of this island”.
