With a large dose of enthusiasm and neighborhood participation, the Altavista neighborhood is intensely experiencing the festivities in honor of its patron saint, San Antonio María Claret. On Sunday night at 8:00 p.m., one of the most anticipated events of the program was held; the endearing Dinner of Confraternity, which brought together members and neighbors in the social hall, completely filling the permitted capacity.

The space featured meticulous décor, with ample tables and chairs perfectly arranged for the occasion, the result of the dedicated work of the Board of Directors and the Festival Committee, who spared no effort to ensure that attendees felt comfortable and enjoyed an event that has already become a tradition.

Those present were pleasantly surprised with a very special menu, full of flavor and Canarian roots; the famous carne de fiesta, made with marinade following the grandmothers' recipe, accompanied by tasty papas arrugadas, good wine, water, soft drinks and, as a finishing touch, a tempting selection of traditional sweets that no one could resist. Dinner was served with care by the members of the organization themselves, who attended to the guests with warmth and efficiency, creating a welcoming family atmosphere.

Once dinner was over, the hall was cleared to make way for the highly anticipated dance, which was enlivened by the "Pal Porrón" band. The group, with a solid musical background, offered a varied repertoire that included popular festival songs and tunes with deep Canarian roots, managing to infect the audience with their energy and skill. So much so, that there were even those who were encouraged to go up on stage to sing with them.

The social hall transformed into a lively dance floor, where a great atmosphere, joy, and friendship were the prevailing notes of the night. The group also shared some of the songs from their latest album, Que siga la Parranda, making it clear that music is an essential part of Altavista's festive soul.

The organization gave the event a very positive assessment, emphasizing that the prior effort was rewarded by the large attendance and the affection received from the neighborhood. A night to remember, which reaffirms the spirit of community and the importance of keeping traditions alive.
