One more year, like that distant hit by Mecano, Tardevieja returns to the popular Almacén de Arrecife. The legend dresses up for a party to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026 as only it knows how to be done in that mythical and mystical place, with an overdose of good humor and better music, lots of laughter and great vibes
New Year's Eve will be, as is obvious, on December 31st. That day, El Almacén will open its doors around 1:00 PM. Ahead, laughter, fun, party, party favors, and popular toasts until 7:00 PM.
The Minister of Tourism, Ángel Vázquez, encourages the island's population "to join a party that has become a tradition for the legion of followers who want to enjoy an original and fun end of the year, and a challenge for those who know it by hearsay but have not yet experienced it."
Simultaneous New Year's Eve Chimes with Christmas Island
True to their tradition, the Tourist Centers have chosen an exotic destination at the antipodes of the planet to share the chimes and bid farewell to the year at a prudent hour, still in daylight. The highly suggestive territory chosen this year has been Christmas Island, a small island of 135 square kilometers discovered precisely on December 25, 1643, by a captain of the British East India Company, now an Australian non-self-governing territory.
Biological diversity and fishing are the economic basis of a society that welcomes the new year amidst family celebrations, joy, grapes, and—pay close attention, faithful followers of El Almacén—red underwear, to attract love, or yellow, for good fortune.
With a seven-hour difference in the planetary time zone, El Almacén's party will give way to the revelry of the new year at 5:00 PM in Lanzarote
Musical Proposal
Music is one of the main attractions at any party. Even more so at Tardevieja. That's why the Tourist Centers have put together a lineup that will kick off with DJ Alba Fernández, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. She will be followed by Graduado escolar, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, and DJ Checha, who has become a Tardevieja staple, will close out the afternoon with one of his dance-inducing sets from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Snacks to keep you going and lots of dancing make up the offering with which the Tourist Centers maintain their commitment to an already legendary festival.
