The Arrecife Duty Court has had to close its doors after a flea infestation was detected in its facilities, as La Voz has confirmed.
Due to the impossibility of using this building for the usual activities, it has been decided to temporarily transfer "all the tasks of the Guard to the corresponding court but to its usual headquarters as a court", as the lawyer Carlos Viñas has confirmed.
Before the closure of the facilities, some officials suffered bites from these insects.
The Court has already informed the Government of the Canary Islands of the situation through a statement sent by the magistrate judge Adalberto de la Cruz, so the Administration is already working to take the correct measures and eradicate this plague.
