The First Section of the Provincial Court will judge next Monday in Arrecife J.C.G.P., a man accused of selling cocaine in Lanzarote.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office in its indictment, J.C.G.P. has a criminal record for the purposes of recidivism and was convicted in 2010 for drug trafficking.
The Public Prosecutor's Office accuses this man of distributing cocaine at his home in Playa Honda (San Bartolomé) since June 2020. In this way, he allegedly provided the narcotic substance to the people who came to his home in exchange.
The accused allegedly sold drugs in a well-known fast food establishment in Arrecife to another client. Specifically, he would have delivered 0.77 grams of cocaine with a purity of 80.37%, which reaches a price of 85.87 euros on the market.
Also, on November 5, 2020, he allegedly sold 0.88 grams of cocaine with a purity of 76.26% at the door of his home, which reaches 93.11 euros.
After this sale, the home was searched. In that search, 8,910 euros in cash, five precision scales and cocaine distributed in different jars and bags were also found.
Specifically, 98.21 grams of 92.69% worth 12,630.53 euros, as well as 55.26 grams with a purity of 94.15% which reaches a value of 7,218.78 euros, also 9.72 grams with a purity of 60.88% which reaches 821.06 euros. In addition to 54.73 grams with a purity of 20.97% for 1,592.42 euros and 0.17 grams with a purity of 64.08% and 15.115 euros.
The Public Prosecutor's Office considers that these facts constitute a crime against public health in the form of substances that cause serious damage to health and requests five years and eleven months in prison and a fine of 67,370.66 euros, accessory special disqualification for the right to passive suffrage.
