They sentence to months in prison the three defendants of the first piece of the Mediador case

The Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has sentenced to sentences of less than one year the three defendants in the first part of the Mediador case, all of them for a crime of continuous bribery.

The intermediary Marco Antonio Navarro Tacoronte, who gives his name to the case, has been sentenced to four months and fifteen days in prison; while the former general of the Civil Guard, Francisco Espinosa, and the businessman Antonio Bautista, have been sentenced to nine months.

Last January, a popular jury determined that the three were guilty of a crime of bribery at the conclusion of the oral hearing in which alleged bribes to obtain solar panel supply contracts were judged.
