Gavin Penn, a British passenger from the city of Brentwood, will sit on the defendant's bench next October before the Brighton Magistrates' Court for allegedly assaulting a woman at London Gatwick Airport.

The events are said to have occurred on January 8 of this year, when the 48-year-old passenger, a resident of Murthering Lane, traveled drunk on a flight with the airline company Tui between the César Manrique Airport in Lanzarote and the London aerodrome.

As reported by the outlet Echo, the passenger admitted to being drunk on one of the multinational's flights between Lanzarote and the United Kingdom.

At the same time, he denied the charge of assault with aggravating injury against a woman at the British airport. For this reason, the defendant will have to go to trial next October.

The newspaper has not detailed whether or not it is a sexual assault offense or if it falls under another type of assault.
