The judge of the Investigating Court number 4 of Arrecife has sent to provisional prison communicated and without bail the man who stabbed another in Playa Blanca for the alleged commission of a crime of homicide.
The detainee, 69 years old, has confessed to the crime and has said that the origin of the fight took place due to an argument over a cell phone that he believed the deceased had stolen from him.
As will be recalled, the events occurred on Tuesday afternoon, around 8:00 p.m. hours on the terrace of the bar Kaos on El Correíllo street. The victim, 40 years old, received three stab wounds, one of them lethal.
The staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) went to the place to attend to the injured man, but upon arrival they could only confirm his death. The Local Police together with the Civil Guard arrested the alleged perpetrator shortly after.
