The Tías City Council has promoted this Thursday the signing of a link and collaboration agreement between the Tías Civil Protection volunteer group and the Boluntis volunteer fire brigade association of Lanzarote, which will provide resources and means and will be integrated into specific missions.

The agreement, signed this week by the Councilor Delegate for Civil Protection of the Tías City Council, Nicolás Saavedra, and the vice president of Boluntis, Ángel Fernández, confirms this "link to the Civil Protection volunteer group as a collaborating entity of Boluntis."

The agreement will have a duration of four years and may be expressly extended for the following four years by mutual agreement of the parties. If the parties do not communicate their intention to extend one month before its completion, it will be automatically extended, as stated in the agreement.

The document states that "the regulations of the civil protection volunteer group of the Tías city council, in its article 2.2, establishes that those with a non-profit purpose and a clear social vocation may be linked to the volunteer group of protection as collaborating entities that wish to collaborate with local civil protection by providing their means and resources or integrating into specific missions."
