Ireland is the foreign country that most frequently searched for 'Lanzarote' on Google in the last twelve months, followed at a great distance by United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Next, there is a triple tie between Slovenia, France and Switzerland, while the table of the ten countries with the most searches about Lanzarote is closed by Germany and Italy.
According to Google Trends, which analyzes the popularity of Google searches with respect to the total number of searches on a scale of 1 to 100, Ireland obtained 93 points and was, by far, the foreign country where the term 'Lanzarote' was most popular on Google.
Searches about Lanzarote in Ireland have increased by 6 points compared to 2023. There have also been more searches than last year in the United Kingdom, which goes from 29 points last year to 33 during 2024.
Luxembourg, which was not among the top ten in 2023, rises to third place by reaching 17 points this year, which means that Belgium, despite having increased its searches about Lanzarote to 14 out of 100, goes from third to fourth position in 2024.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands remains the fifth country with the most searches about Lanzarote and obtains the same score as last year (12 points).
France and Switzerland increase their searches by two points compared to last year to 11, and Slovenia, also with 11 points, sneaks into the top ten for the first time.
Completing the table of the ten foreign countries with the most searches about Lanzarote are Germany, which remains at the 10 points it obtained last year, and Italy, which also repeats the score of 2023, equivalent to 8 points out of 100.
