The staff of Lanzarote's hotels are 8% larger than a year ago

The hotels earned 2.3 million more this February than the previous one, with an average rate 5.5% higher, thanks above all to three-star establishments or less

The hotel establishments of Lanzarote have taken in in February 71.3 million euros, which represents 2.3 million more than in February 2025.

And even though the five-star hotels have had to lower or freeze prices in the last five months.

It is the hotels of 3 stars or less that are pulling the average rate that reached last February 155.7 euros, which represents a 5.5% more than the 147.5 euros of February last year. 

The hotel occupancy, which reached 91.24% a  was slightly higher than last year's (91.16%). 

Hotels accommodated this February 171,164 travelers, practically the same as last year, although they stayed a little less since the average stay was reduced from 7.2 last year to 7 days this February. 

As for the workforces, Lanzarote's hotel establishments had last month a total of 10,694 workers, 8% more than in February last year when there were 9,893 employees.
