It has been two very difficult years, how have you experienced them firsthand?
These years have been quite difficult. We have had better and worse moments. We have experienced them by changing month by month, adapting to the state of tourism in the Canary Islands. Another of the very hard impacts during this covid period has been the lack of fleet that has been in all the Canary Islands. As with everyone who lives in the world of cars, the problem is that they are not available when they are needed and forecasts are made but not fulfilled.
How is the audio guide project going?
We are a tourist company, but one of our characteristics is innovation. As an example, the audio guide that we are now presenting at Fitur. It incorporates the audio guide of La Graciosa as the eighth island. The audio is already finished and it has turned out quite well.
Are you also incorporating the logo of Saramago's centenary in your vehicles this year?
It has always been done with characters from the Canary Islands, previously we did it with César Manrique. The José Saramago Foundation and the Tías City Council have asked us to do so. In Lanzarote, 100 cars already have it.
One of the most mentioned phrases in Fitur is that 2022 will be a year of strong activity. What are your forecasts?
More reservations are coming in than we expected. I think 2022 is going to be a pretty good year, within reason.
