In this way, they have obtained 51.6 million euros in revenue in June, which is equivalent to 3.7 million euros more than they earned during the same month last year.

In June, the island's hotels added 171,000 clients and more than one million overnight stays. Figures very similar to those of the same month last year, although with an occupancy rate almost three points lower. Also because this year there were more places offered.

For its part, employment in hotels on the island has increased by 20% in the last year to a total of 10,259 workers. Last year there were 8,516 people.
