If domestic flight searches for Easter have grown by 18% compared to last year, in the specific case of Lanzarote they have increased by 25%, according to data from the Kayak flight search engine.
It is the third destination in the country with the largest increase in searches to fly, only behind Gran Canaria, whose increase amounts to 36% and Tenerife, whose searches increased by 29%.
According to the flight search engine, rates on domestic flights have fallen by 7%, but have decreased much more among those destined for the Canary Islands, specifically 18%.
The most desired European destinations are Istanbul, Budapest, Prague, Copenhagen, Milan, Naples and Florence, whose flight searches have increased by an average of 22%. On the contrary, searches to fly to Berlin, Dublin and Lisbon contracted by 7%
Among the intercontinental trips, Kayak highlights three destinations to take into account. Miami, whose flights are 6% cheaper than last year, as well as Lima and Bogota, with flights 10% cheaper than in 2023.
