Lanzarote hotel rates rose 10% in June compared to last year

In contrast, hotels in Fuerteventura had lower prices this June than during the same month of 2024

The average rate of hotels in Lanzarote reached 129.8 euros last June, which is equivalent to a 10.7% increase compared to the prices of last year, whose average rate was 117.2 euros.

Meanwhile, in Fuerteventura, hotels had lower prices in June than in the same month last year. If then the average rate exceeded one hundred euros (100.6), this year it has remained at 96 euros on average. 

The hotels in the tourist spots of Lanzarote presented high degrees of occupancy per room. In Yaiza they reached 87.5%, while in Teguise it was 86.1% and in Tías in Tías 83.7%.

At the national level, overnight stays in hotel establishments increased by 2.1% in June compared to the same month of 2024, exceeding 38.9 million.

Those of travelers residing in Spain decreased by 1.3%, while those of non-residents increased by 3.7%.

Andalusia, Catalonia and Comunitat Valenciana were the main destinations for travelers residing in Spain in June, with 21.7%, 15.3% and 13.1% of the total overnight stays, respectively.

For their part, the main destinations for non-residents were Balearic Islands, Catalonia and Canary Islands, with 33.7%, 18.7% and 17.8% of the total, respectively.
