The port of Arrecife will receive throughout this week the visit of five cruise ships that will bring to the capital of Lanzarote about 14,000 passengers.
The schedule started this Tuesday, October 20, with the Spirit of Adventure, a ship from the British shipping company Saga Cruises with about a thousand cruise passengers on board.
Port activity will continue on Friday with the docking at the Naos pier of the Norwegian Star, 294 meters long, with capacity for 2,348 travelers and 1,031 crew members, prior to its crossing to Morocco.
During the weekend, the call of the Britannia is planned, one of the largest ships operating on the island with 330 meters in length and more than 4,300 passengers.
On Sunday, the Europa 2 will arrive, coming from Morocco and heading to La Gomera, coinciding with the opening of commerce in the urban center.
Finally, on Monday, the expedition ship Le Laperouse, of French flag, will call, with 137 American passengers and 120 crew members on board. The Arrecife city council defines it as "a super-luxury boutique vessel in which everything is included and which has a private butler service in some cabins”.
