Spain is the tourist destination for Germans for the upcoming Easter holidays, especially the Canary and Balearic Islands, followed by Turkey and Egypt.
The German tour operator TUI reported this Friday that 28% of its clients chose Spain as a holiday destination this Easter, 19% chose Turkey, especially the Turkish Riviera, and 13% chose Egypt, specifically Hurghada and Marsa Alam on the shores of the Red Sea.
Greece occupies the fourth position as a favorite destination for Germans at Easter with 8%. In addition, 5% of Germans prefer to stay in Germany at Easter.
Italy and Portugal are the other two favorite destinations for Germans.
The United Arab Emirates, USA. UU. and Thailand are the long-distance destinations preferred by Germans.
Customers traveling with TUI stay an average of ten days and spend 3,295 euros per booking, according to the tour operator.
