The Government Council of the Canary Islands has authorized this Monday the Ministry of Housing to spend 14 million euros for the construction of 67 protected public promotion properties in Arrecife and 18 more in Teror (Gran Canaria).
The 67 homes that will be built in the capital of Lanzarote will be built on a plot of land ceded by the City Council and will be distributed in two blocks with a semi-basement, where the private parking will be located.
Likewise, and given the lack of road access to one of the plots, the project foresees generating an easement to give access to the buildings through the garages.
The development of these blocks contemplates measures aimed at guaranteeing the protection of residents against noise, through constructive elements to reduce the transmission of airborne noise, impacts and noise and vibrations from the building's own installations, as well as reverberant noise.
Likewise, the installation of photovoltaic panels intended to produce electricity for self-consumption has been planned and will be connected to the grid to supply the electrical needs of the property.
